This summer, we are excited to offer three adventure camps: one for high schoolers, and two for grade schoolers. We welcome everyone, and no prior camping experience is necessary.

Each Adventure Camp is organized, led, and run by a team of dedicated young adults, led by experienced outdoor enthusiasts and former campers, all dedicated to the work of creating a safe and fun camp. Our camps focus around the intentional community we build.

  • Rising 3rd-8th Graders

Our two camps for Elementary and Middle Schoolers offer an introduction to backcountry adventures at a pace that allows the campers to focus on fun. All 3rd-8th graders are welcome at Camp Greenwood Lake, located in a classic camp setting in Danbury, WI. Middle schoolers of all experience levels are invited to travel a little further afield for our Coastal Camp, based out of a rustic base camp on the beaches of Cape Henlopen.

  • High Schoolers

Our camps for high schoolers offer more challenging terrain and opportunities for leadership that meet the capacities and needs of these amazing teenagers. Our canoe camp down the Namekagon River is largely youth-led, setting up camp on the shores each evening. No prior experience is required!

Let’s have an Adventure!

Even saying the word is exciting. What does it take to be an Adventurer?

It takes a willingness to try and learn something new. To go somewhere you have never been before. To be willing to meet new people and to show a part of yourself that maybe you don’t at school, or at home. Part of an adventure is also to be able to take care of and be respectful of each other. We work together on an adventure. We also can learn to be very thankful for all that we are given.

When parents send their children to Adventure Camps, they can be sure their child will be well fed and cared for, teeth brushed and hair combed! But more importantly, they will be listened to and guided safely into this new adventure, be it backpacking, camping on a beach, canoeing, or exploring the woods. Adventurers bring back to their parents new capacities to love.
