Join Us for an Unforgettable Winter Youth Conference!
We are thrilled to return once again to the cozy retreat cabin we reserved in Richland Center, WI, for this year’s Winter Youth Conference. With 14 spots available, we invite you to spend a long weekend filled with singing, laughter, meaningful conversations, delicious food, fun games, and the beauty of a (hopefully) snow-covered landscape.
Each year, our youth conferences revolve around a central theme thoughtfully planned by our adult leaders to guide our discussions and activities. If you have a theme or idea in mind and would like to suggest one for the future, now’s your chance! We welcome your ideas—please don’t hesitate to email us.
The conference is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and recharge as we approach the halfway point between summer and the next camp season. It’s a refreshing and inspiring time, planting the seeds for a strong beginning of the semester.
Why This Weekend Matters
In the heart of winter—when the days are shortest, the cold settles in, and summer camp feels far away—this conference always seems to arrive at just the right moment. After the rush of school, holidays, family gatherings, and travel, there’s a natural lull, a quiet pause that invites us to slow down. This gathering becomes a gentle reset: a chance to breathe, reflect, reconnect, and refill our sense of belonging.
For many of us, camp is a seed planted in the summer that continues to grow throughout the year. Winter is when that seed can feel buried deep, waiting for warmth and light. This weekend together helps us tend that seed, remembering what inspires us, looking ahead to what’s coming, and finding joy in the simple act of being together. And once we return home, the beautiful truth hits: summer is now closer than it is far away.
