Anna has been part of the camp community since 5th grade, when she first attended Camp Greenwood Lake. Since then, she has returned each year, taking part in many camp adventures, including Canoe Camp, and more recently serving as a cook and counselor at Camp GWL and Coastal Camp.

Over the years, Anna has come to see camp as a second home, forming lifelong friendships and a deep sense of belonging. Some of her favorite camp memories include singing around the campfire, swimming whenever possible, and sharing lively meals and warm food at the end of each day.

Building on these experiences, Anna brings a wealth of experience as both a counselor and a cook, along with a positive spirit and a genuine love for camp. She is excited to welcome both new and returning campers, and to help create meaningful, lasting experiences for the next generation.

A graduate of the Waldorf School of DuPage, Anna is currently pursuing a degree in plant biotechnology in the crop sciences department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she also serves as captain of the women’s ultimate frisbee B team.
