Rev. Emma Heirman grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, surrounded by the rhythms of a Waldorf education and summers spent at the East Coast Christian Community Summer Camp. These experiences shaped her deep passion for fostering growth, connection, and community in young people and the eventual pursuit of a life path that strives to support human becoming in freedom and love.

Since 2016, Emma has served as a priest in The Christian Community, dedicated to supporting the journey of human becoming with freedom and love. She aims to nurture the health and development of children through the strong rhythmic life of camp in nature, as well as through the forming of unique communities and human connections that are born anew or renewed each summer. It is fun, hard work - the best kind!
