Jakob has been part of the Adventure Camps team for many years and grew up attending the children’s camps every summer. As someone who is passionate about the human-nature connection, he is constantly working to shape a more meaningful and caring interaction between ourselves and the land that sustains us.

After completing his degree in organic agriculture, Jakob began working as an assistant in a Waldorf school garden and later as a farm and restoration technician with a company that plants trees on farms throughout the Midwest. His dream is to one day be part of a farming community that hosts camps for children and teenagers to experience the positive impact our work can have on the world around us.

As a Canoe Camp team member, Jakob looks forward to being part of the vibrant and beautiful Adventure Camp community and to the starry nights and songs of the Namekagon River.
